Betweeen the weather and the Monday holiday, the only thing this week needs to reach perfection is (obviously) a great pair of shoes. Check out these Summer wedges from 6pm; perfection from a casual Saturday cookout to a day at the office … and did I mention extremely discounted? That’s always the best part.
Printed shorts are in this season. Just pair with a solid button down or T-shirt with some barely-there sandals and over-sized sunglasses and you’re good to go. What I love about them is how the print elevates your look away from the usual sloppy cut-offs and gives the whole outfit a pop. Style.com ran a story on how to shop this look, and with the cheapest pair of shorts at a whopping $123.75, I decided to create my own version:
As much as I love looking good, I’ve never been very good at styling my hair. It’s either air-dried or blow-dried and if it doesn’t fall quite right I put it into a bun. No products. No straightening. No curling. That’s why I feel that the up-and-coming “sock bun” is a look that is truly calling to me; it gives a more stylish and refined appearance than my usual messy bun, and it seems really simple and easy to do. I’ve seen it on Lookbook lately and I’ve decided to add it to my repetoire. Here is the how-to video I found on Youtube … what do you guys think of this look?
