Monthly Archives: June 2012

Recently I ordered quite a few things online; some rain boots, new flats, bangles, and an epic necklace. I’ve been tracking the packages online like a mad man and today they were all delivered! It’s like Christmas!

Ever find yourself salivating over an Herve Leger bandage dress? I definitely do. And while they are particularly drool worthy, a whopping $1,500 is not exactly a “part time budget”, is it?

There are cheaper versions, from Stretta, but they are still a little pricey at around $300-$400. However, until Friday at 8AM you can find these dresses on Hautelook for around $100.

Now that’s a deal.

Happy Shopping!

Awhile ago I reinvented a post titled “Shorts Story” from style.com…and while I love style.com for inspiration, the products they recommend are (to put it lightly) a little out of my price range. After all, who can afford 3.1 Phillip Lim, Versace, Valentino, and Christian Louboutin all in one go? You’ll see what I mean when you look at the inspiration.

Anyway, I’ve done it again. Check out my favorite affordable finds showing off the stud trend. I do love a good embellishment.

The Realway:

Is it just me, or does this collection look like the result of a truck full of designer scarves being left unattended in a parking lot full of starving (and fabulous) gypsies?

Well, whether you’re heading to the beach, hosting a barbecue or begging the tourists for change, I love this look.  I’m a sucker for prints, especially when they mix together and scream “borderline tacky, but I am pulling. it. off.”

Luckily, if you’re feeling daring, these scarf prints are popping up everywhere. Check out some of my favorites in the slide show below:

The inspiration for this post comes from The Man Repeller, particularly her affinity for MR. Dannijo jewelry. These statement pieces are enough to make any girl drool.  So, on behalf of those of us who can’t drop $500 on a necklace, I set out to find a more affordable option … and here it is. Rocks Paper Metal, a brand sold on Threadflip and Etsy, offers the solution. Check out some of my favorites below.

What do you guys think of this trend? These pieces? Which one is your favorite?

Happy Tuesday!

The BeachMint empire just announced the launch of its newest member: intiMINT. This will undoubtedly be a buyers club for lingerie at fixed prices, similar to their other websites. I can’t wait to check it out, but for now they are trying to rally members by giving special offers to those who refer friends. Check out my invitation link, sign up, and refer your friends for savings. If we work as a team we can all get discounts, and who wouldn’t want that?

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the BeachMint family, check out the websites I have listed in the Shopping section.
